Day of sorrow

Monday, July 6, 2009

It's mum's brother funeral procession day.

Woke up very early and applied lots of sunblock before depart.

At first, the house is kinda blank since it's still very early.

The music band is paying their respect.

Mum is helping out there.

Soon, The main host for the funeral asked every kin to queue up to pin a fabric thingy.

At first, I thought 'he' was a guy. But then when 'he' speak, I realize that ''he' is a she!
It's not my determination got problem. You will understand after look at the photo below.

Huiyo..never seen such chio women before I tell you!!

A closer look!

I can't stop myself looking at her when she is pinning the fabric for me. LOL! She's cool larh.

Soon, it's getting crowded and more crowded there and extremely crowded in the end.

The drummers.

They started to hit the drum. Wtf, I nearly become a deaf.

Mum is crying. =(

Soon, the praying ceremony started, every kin is following the Taoist walk surrounding the house.
And the scene was imposing!
But no photo for it since I'm one of the kin and have to follow the Taoist walk round and round inside & outside the house.

After a short break for lunch, the funeral procession started.

I walked for a very long distance and thus I sweat like bathing. No joking!

Every passing car and motorist at the road get curious when we walk along the road due the long queue line formed for the funeral procession.

After walked for 30 minutes+ I guess. We stopped and went on to a bus because the incinerate mill is quite far.

You can see how hot am I through the oiliness of my face. Yiiuuck!

Arrived

The moment the coffin was sent into the incinerator, 舅妈 broke down and sobbed loudly.

Arrggh...I feel so bad when watching that scene.

The atmosphere was so dull.

After settled with the praying stuff, BALIK RUMAH!

A photo of myself. So Zi Lian right? LOL
